Este fin de semana se celebra en Sevilla la II Feria de
Desembalaje de Antigüedades. Como sabéis que me gusta tanto lo vintage y retro pues no me la quiero perder y aún menos cuando cada pieza que allí se exponga deberá tener más de 40 años que es la antigüedad que se requiere para ser considerada una almoneda.
This weekend will be held in Seville the II Unpacking Antiques Fair. As you know, I love vintage and retro so much so I don't want to lose and even less when each piece that is exposed there is more than 40 years old, what is required to be considered one auction.
De modo que en el II Desembalaje de Sevilla, en FIBES, Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos, podremos contemplar piezas que fueron creadas alrededor del
siglo XIII, hasta las más modernas que son las que cumplen la antigüedad mínima exigida de

Y se me acumula el trabajo porque también tengo pendiente contaros mi experiencia con la
Premio Nobel de la Paz 1992, Rigoberta Menchú, que dio en jueves 13 de enero una conferencia en el Club Antares de Sevilla sobre Economía Social. Yo asistí a la rueda de prensa previa a la charla porque tenía interés en conocer de primera mano su opinión sobre la compatibilidad - o no- entre la
MODA y
DERECHOS HUMANOS. Y bueno... me quedé alucinada de su respuesta y no solo yo, sino la sala llena de periodistas que antes, al escuchar mi pregunta, se pusieron un poco "intranquilos" quizá pensando que estaba fuera de contexto. De hecho, todas las preguntas eran sobre el Nobel de la Paz de este año, la crisis mundial, las próximas elecciones en Guatemala... Imaginaros lo que pudo suscitar el tema MODA en ese entorno tan poco "frívolo". No os cuento más. En el próximo post...
And my work is piling up because I have yet to tell my experience with the Nobel Peace Prize 1992, Rigoberta Menchú, who on Thursday, 13 january, gave a lecture at the Antares Club, Sevilla, about Social Economy. I attended the press conference prior to the lecture because I was interested on knowing her point of view aabout the compatibility - or not- between FASHION and HUMANRIGHTS . Well ... I was amazed by her response and not only me, but the room filled with reporters that when hearing my question, got a little "uneasy" perhaps thinking it was out of context. In fact, all questions were about the Nobel Peace Prize this year, the global crisis, the upcoming elections in Guatemala ... Imagine what it could raise the issue FASHION in that environmen so little "frivolous". I tell you no more. In the next post ...
