La Cueva del Agua

la-cueva-del-agua

There is a place in Quesada, Sierra de Cazorla, Jaen, called The Water Cave where the magic live. It is the first known natural cave in Spain, an interesting limestone formation that brings together water from Tíscar river and the Rock of Horse Hill. Ancient stories of Moors and Christians have become the target of numerous onlookers. To reach the cave you've to overcome a series of obstacles and I assure you that if you don't know it is there, you never will find it. The adventure is set up for all the route of the High Guadalquivir. It's a lucky experience to walk around this natural environment, located 20 minutes driving from Pozo Alcon. If you like walking in the countryside, I recommend this route by foot.
